Woo hoo!

This weekend was going to start right, I knew, because COMCAST ACTUALLY SHOWED UP FRIDAY.
Wait, it gets better.
The technician even explained to me what the problem was, and how he fixed it.  And now I also know that if it happens again I really need to call a tech because it had to do with the lines outside the apartment (along with a lousy ethernet cable that COMCAST GAVE ME, but which seems to have stabilized a bit).
So.  Apparently the rumors are true. Comcrap is starting to give one about their customers.
Yesterday the boy and I went to the gym and then off to a show in the evening.  We also had a margarita with S. to celebrate her newfound unemployment.  No no, it’s a good thing, because she quit her job of the last 7 years to start student teaching kindygarteners!  Yay!
But the best part of the weekend is that E. and I finally got around to making a reservation at the Kalahari Waterpark Resort.  We’re going over Easter weekend, because they have a brunch special that’s basically the normal price plus a huge (I mean it, HUGE) brunch buffet.  We haven’t been away together in so long, and the last time we went to Wisconsin I got severely carsick.  So we are long overdue (even my mom was telling me we needed to go on a vacation together) and both looking forward to it like two little kids.  And yes, I will be sure to pack my motion-sickness pills this time.
