So Very Sad

I’ve been sick the last couple days, hence the lack of blogging, but I had to post about something today.
There is a girl I used to be in improv with, and as with all the folks I knew from that circle, I see her with no regularity at all.  Usually we just bump into each other, but she is always friendly and gives me a fantastic hug.  She is a warm and sunny person who is married to a wonderful man and I think everyone who meets her is touched by her light (not to mention her talent) in some way.
Erica lost her dad yesterday, after a long battle with cancer.  It is so very sad and I cannot imagine how heavy their hearts will be this holiday.  So please keep Erica and her family in your thoughts for me, okay?
